The familiar siren of the police van was trying the spread a sense of ass...

The lucidity of the sky in the night would give an impression that the moon has made a formation of stars to descend on the roof of the earth and embrace its beauty forever. Even animals and insects would show their respect to the serenity of the night.  At the crack of the dawn, the smoke emitted from the chimneys of the houses would rise in the sky, mingle with the mist, form different shapes, and then disappear with the cold wind taking them away to a different destination. As the sunrays would titillate during the day, the glistening skin would smile as if it has just received a new lease of life.*Hidden behind the hazy sky, the moon would arrogantly walk in the sky, feeling proud its t...

To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is 'Celebrations' A gas-balloon, unknown of its own future, was conceitedly floating in the sky, as if on its maiden voyage of galaxies it was destined to kiss stars, but a trivial gust of wind shook its existence.  Sitting on the raised platform that ran around a banyan tree, Raghu was watching the balloon with an unadulterated smile and undying sparkle in his eyes.  He was living a similar life, many dreams were getting accumulated over man...

Insurance is important and we should do it as early as possible. Click here to read my last article for detail discussion on this. However whenever we think of a insurance policy, the first question that comes to our mind is to the type of insurance that should be taken. There are various types of insurance and there are many agents to confuse you for their own benefit. Income, Investment and Insurance are the three important ‘I’s  to secure you and your family’s future, yet we discriminate among them. While we concentrate a lot on the income aspect as it affects your present as well, Investment gets a bit less attention and for the majority the Insurance part is completely ignored. While I said insurance I basically talk about Life Insurance. And in this post wherever Insurance is written it implies life insurance only.Sourced from InternetI have spoken to many people and the answer that I get is “Haan Yaar karna hai.” (Yes, it needs to be done.). It reflects that people are aware about the importance of Insurance but with many other important t...

The British Raj that ruled the country for 200 years, were they fool enough not to predict such a potential? Then what was the reason that gave freedom to the country in 1947? A boy who believes in love and finally falls in it, there are three different worlds that he experiences during the process. The first world is probably the happiest among all when you are yet to fall in love. This world mainly revolves around many crushes and infatuations, which always appears momentarily to be true love like you hadn't experienced earlier. Even though the earlier experience was just a few seconds back in the same settings with a girl which now appears less beautiful and more importantly less sexy... :p.The second world is where you finally choose one particular person who tinkles the extreme core of your heart which was unexplored till that time, it generates a strange fe...

There was a time, when you cross the age of 16-17 you would become a 'Sayar'. I was not an exception either. Many pages were filled with, which now I assume as, crap. Those pages are now lost in oblivion. I never tried to recover them either. But, I still remember a few of my work. One of such work is ‘Anamika’. Anamika is the name of the person on whom this song was dedicated. This song is very close to my heart because I had written it in two hours, for my friend who wanted to tell something different to bring a smile on the face of his girlfriend who was suffering sickle-cell disease. It was written on the day when she was going for her first blood transfusion. The last stanza was add...

Controversial Cartoon of AseemSource - InternetAseem TrivediSedition, a word which is a new addition to my limited vocabulary, and Aseem Trivedi, a name that I had not heard earlier, have been confusing my thought process for last few days. When I think about the sanctity of National Symbols of our country, I certainly feel that somewhere Aseem has hurt the sentiments. Our national symbols needs to be respected. Distorting a national symbol is not right whatever may be the intention.  But, on the other hand, has he really disrespected a national symbol more than it already being insulted everyday by those who have the power or by those who are responsible more than anybody else to maintai...

There are many structures in our country, which, perhaps, were erected only to please some architect’s brain shitt, to fill some politician’s already flooded pocket, or to show a fake superiority. There was no foresightedness, and for this the citizens need to suffer.A place like Bangalore which has always been ridiculed for its lack of infrastructure, cannot afford such infrastructural blunders. But there are two structures in the city, which instead of the reducing, has increased the burden of its citizen. These structures are such blunders that I  wonder what was going through the minds of the designers, architects, town planners, approvers, financiers and many others who were involv...

Ever since I started blogging, I was contemplating this idea to put my list of worst movies ever. This list only includes movies I have seen. My criteria of putting a movie in this category are very simple. I have gauged the hype created and expectations generated by the movie before its release against the final outcome.Do remember that this is my list, I have not referred any public opinion or critics ratings.Movie: BoomRelease Year: 2003Misdirected by: Kaizad GustadShitt Remarks: Undoubtedly, the worst movie I have ever seen. A film having star cast of Amitabh Bachchan,   Zeenat Aman (Can you enjoy a old Zeenat Aman doing cabaret ---yieeee), Jackie Shroff (In fact the movie was prod...
