This one is my favorite  among all the embroidery works which I did, Probably I took three months to finished this saree - hand embroidery on two sides then pallu part... Happily said its my own design didn't get it from anywhere...:-) I wove it with the use of maroon and green silk threads and copper colour jari thread, along with that did bead and stone work throughout the saree... ...  Things required Foam sheet in different colours Pollens Scissors Gluechoose any two different colour sheets  - Take one of them, prefer lighter colour - fold and cut the sheets into half - fold and cut it till 3/4 level - paste the bunch of pollens at one corner - start roll from the pollen part up to the end and paste it with glue  - overlap another colour like the same procedure  to complete the flower  - use pins for strong binding - simple foams flowers are ready   leave as it is  or  for change cut it in middle - folded  area for another variati... These deity photos were decorated my house entrance hall for so many years..dont know and where my grand parents got it... might be the age of this pictures are about 35 to 40 years.It impressed me because of the handwork on it...even those years before how people are artistically did it, they used to stiched the jari lace and sequins on the paper and also used piece of cloth for draped the saree on picture....simply superb!!The picture inside the frame had been blurred and also smudged by rain water unexpectedly...but still now the handworks in the picture didn't get damaged or loosen after so many years...Ganesha/pillaiyar/vinayagar/Ganapathyசித்... Why shouldnt I try craft work for my son? As a result of this thought I made this Thermocol balls craft work. Usually he loves to watch cartoons and one of his favourite is Team umizumiz, So I decided to do anything related to that. Actually I planned for Milli(one of the character) only, but he saw the printed image and asked  'amma, where are Geo and Bot?'.  After he asked how do I leave that remaining characters, so again searching started and got all the three images.Hope no need for the elaborate procedure as it is very simple to do. just cut + paste + stick + paintBefore stick the balls its better to colour the picture, inbetweeen the thermo... From kids to elders, everyone love these Disney characters, Snow white, Sleeping beauty, Cinderella, BelleHere all are come together colorfully through paint and brush ... got the pictures from Google This time I tried it with fabric paints and outline with Indian ink which I had.Instead of outliner I chose this one because the details in the faces are small.
