Why should Humanists use Linux ? Humanists are people working across the planet for Change; a Change that is within each one of them and a simultaneous Change that goes on spreading in the environment through more & more working for Change, selflessly, giving their best to others, without expecting anything in return. In this work, Humanists reject all kind of violence, be it Physical, Economic, Psychological, Gender, Moral and even Internal (that manifests within the human being as Hatred, Anger, Greed, Resentment, etc.). Humanists reject the economic model that is built based on the greed of a few and is implemented through violence on a majority of people. Microsoft that gives out sof... Read more

One after the other, the scams are coming out. Not only the new ones, but the deeper and more serious nature/level of earlier scams are coming out.Like someone told me, after hearing today's Supreme Court's judgement :" PMO officials make serious mistakes, but PM is held not responsible for it;One minister does a scam, but the PM is help not responsible for it;But, when the cricket team does not perform, the Captain is held responsible. Is it that the PM is not the Captain (leader) of the Government ? "This shows a very negative feeling on part of the people. One after the other, the speakers on various TV programs talk about it, but nothing changes. It is time that people take cognizance of... Read more

While the popularly understood expression of violence is Physical violence (physical fights, wars etc. Leading to bodily harm), It also gets expressed in the form of :Economic Violence : Unemployment, Exploitation, Corruption, Slavery, P... A big Shift between last year 2011 and the coming new year 2012 is in the make: After the experiments of Non-violence as a methodology of action, by Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, we have seen 2011 as the year of the Great Nonviolent Turning Point, without any leader.  Greater events may follow in the new year 2012 or in the following years to come. The  events in the year 2011—the population coming down to streets in big numbers, starting from Tunisia to Egypt, from Greece to Spain, from Chile to Jeju Island, from China and Russia and up to Occupy Wall Street in America—have marked a greater significance of growing qualitative shift in the direction of Peoples’ thinking. INTERNATIONAL HUMANIST PARTYwww.internationalhumanistparty.orgGADDAFI AND THE CONTRADICTION OF THE VIOLENTShortly after the fall of their respective dictatorships in Tunisia and Egypt, we are witnessing a strong questioning of the Gaddafi regime in Libya after 42 years in power; a man who, despite bloodily repressing his people, is unable to prevent the advance of the rebels who are being joined by increasing numbers of military personnel who refuse to repress.Gaddafi, who rose to power in 1969, started out identified with the pan-Arab idealism of Nasser and was defined as a “socialist revolutionary”, a friend of the Kremlin and an enemy of the USA.
